Two goals in the opening quarter-hour powered Bologna to a comfortable 3-0 home victory over visitors Udinese.

The Rossoblu’s Stefan Posch and Nikola Moro earned Thiago Motta’s men a comfortable 2-0 lead less than 13 minutes after kick-off before Musa Barrow added a third goal just after the break.

It marked Bologna’s first victory in four matches and simultaneously snapped the Zebrette’s four game unbeaten run.

“Today was a good, well deserved win, but there are still lots of things to improve on,” Thiago Motta told the media in his post match press conference.

“We’re happy, today was really important: we knew Udinese can defend well, it’s never easy to get close to the goal, so we tried to shoot from the outside and also to bring them out to create more space.”

Adding, “The lads were fantastic, this group shows me every day that they want to grow, I’m here to choose the best 11 and give them a chance to prove their worth.”
