Milan remain active on the transfer market and are closing in on another midfield acquisition for manager Stefano Pioli.

Multiple outlets have reported the Rossoneri and AZ Alkmaar finally reached an agreement for the permanent transfer of midfielder Tijjani Reijnders. Milan will pay €20 million plus €5 million in bonuses for the 24 year-old.

Reijnders is expected to arrive in Milan on Monday evening before carrying out his medical examinations the following morning and singing his five-year contract.

He’ll become the third midfielder to join the club this summer alongside Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Luka Romero.
