Timothy Weah touches down in Torino ahead of Juventus switch

The first summer acquisition for Juventus touched down in Italy this evening to finalise his move.

Accompanied by several family members, United States international Timothy Weah landed in Torino tonight to undergo his medicals and finalise his transfer switch from Lille.

The Bianconeri will pay a fee worth €12 million to acquire the 23 year-old. The attacker ends his stint with the French side after four seasons, collecting 8 goals and 8 assists in 107 appearances.

Weah’s move comes one day after Juve announced free agent midfielder Adrien Rabiot agreed to a new one-year contract, keeping him in Torino through next season.
