Versatile midfielder Aleksei Miranchuk has enjoyed a strong campaign with Torino this season after struggling last season with Atalanta.
The Russian international left La Dea over the summer and joined the Granata on loan with an option to buy. He quickly won over manager Ivan Juric and became a fixture in the team’s starting lineup, tallying 4 goals and 3 assists in 16 league appearances
As a result, Tuttosport reports Torino are keen to make Miranchuk’s loan move permanent but hope to lower the €12 million option to buy.
Atalanta already rebuffed the Granata’s request for a discount but the latter are confident they can still lower the amount given they already agreed to a long term contract with the player until 2026.
