Torino boss Ivan Juric previewed his side’s league clash versus Roma tomorrow evening, conceding his side will have to be “perfect” to get a result.
The Granata are looking to snap their two-match winless streak when they host Jose Mourinho’s men, who are coming off a 3-0 drubbing of Sampdoria, at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino.
“Roma are a great team, it doesn’t take much for them to score,” Juric told the media during his pre-match press conference.
“They’re also incredibly dangerous from set pieces, you have to be perfect. But we’ll have to see how they decide to lineup. They appeared to find balance in a three-man defence but recently had to switch to four due to absences. Great teams adapt to every formation.”
Continuing, “Mourinho? He’s a guy who gets results, also very adaptable. He’s always been this way, it’s not like he’s different now than in the past. He’s had an incredible career.”
Juric was also asked about the return of former captain and current Roma attacker Andrea Belotti to Turin. The 29 year-old left the club after seven years to join the Giallorossi on a free transfer last summer.
“Andrea and I had a very good relationship, it’s just a shame the way he left the club,” he said.
“Sometimes relationships with the club and with the supporters are indistinguishable: he has always been an idol, but he could’ve left on better terms.”
“Nonetheless, he’s a great guy with a good heart.”
