Torino sporting director Davide Vagnati confirmed that his side are engaged in negotiations with Roma for out-of-favor striker Eldor Shomurodov.
The Uzbekistan international has appeared only six times this season for the Giallorossi and is eager to secure a transfer out of the Italian capital before the window closes later this month.
“We met and talked on friendly terms,” Vagnati revealed to Sky Sport.
“We discussed several details. We’re on excellent terms with Roma so let’s see what happens over the coming days. Shomurodov is one of several situations we’re keeping our eyes on.”
Adding, “There isn’t just one thing needed to get the deal over the line. Right now both sides are reflecting, plus (Roma executive) Pinto told me they’re very limited due to Financial Fair Play.”
