Torino central defender Koffi Djidji could be on the move in January once the transfer market officially reopens.
The Ivorian’s contract expires this summer on 30 June and the Granata will be forced to decide whether or not to sell the defender during the winter transfer window.
Tuttosport reports there’s a large gap between Torino’s contract renewal offer and the wage request of Djidji’s representatives—both sides growing dubious they’ll be able to come to an agreement.
Should Toro opt to sell, one of the clubs that’d be most eager to strike a deal is Inter. The Nerazzurri are reportedly keen to acquire a defender for Simone Inzaghi in January and a cut-rate deal for Djidji would be an appealing prospect.
