Nicolo Turco is set to undergo a medical in Italy before joining AC Milan’s Futuro team on loan, as reported. Turco began his career in the youth academy of Juventus before moving to Red Bull Salzburg. He was loaned to FC Liefering, where he impressed with one goal and three assists in 13 games.
According to MilanNews, Turco’s medical examination is scheduled for tomorrow as he prepares to join Milan on loan from Red Bull Salzburg. The young striker will be under the guidance of Daniele Bonera at Milan Futuro. While it is unclear if the deal will become permanent, Turco is expected to support Francesco Camarda for the U23 team in Serie C.
Turco had a successful stint with Juventus Primavera, scoring 19 goals and providing 10 assists in 54 games. He has also represented Italy at the U20 level. Reports suggest there is an option to buy Turco for €2 million.
