IF24 Desk

Just one week after terminating his contract with Tigres, former French international and Marseille attacker Florian Thauvin has signed with Udinese on a free transfer.

Thauvin has penned a two-and-a-half year deal with the Friulians that runs until 30 June 2025.

The 30 year-old is back in Europe after he spending the past eighteen months with the Mexican side. He terminated his contract after falling out with the club.

Prior to his time in South America, Thauvin spent eight-and-a-half years at Marseille over two different stints. He made 281 appearances across all competitions for the club and scored 86 goals and provided 61 assists, earning his spot in the France squad for the 2018 World Cup.
