Udinese defender Nehuén Pérez appeared on the club’s official television following their late 1-0 defeat to Juventus.
The Bianconeri secured their eighth consecutive league victory at the death thanks to a remarkable move involving Leandro Paredes, Federico Chiesa, and capped off by a tap-in from Danilo in the 86th minute.
“We played a great game,” the 22 year-old lamented.
“One action changed the entire result, unfortunately. It’s a huge shame because of all the effort we put into tonight, we played to our fullest.”
He added, “Paredes did well on the pass to Chiesa so we’ll have to analyse what went wrong. Then we have to work and focus on Bologna because that’s going to be another tough game.”
