Speaking before kick off, Hellas Verona sporting director Sean Sogliano confessed tonight’s league clash against Salernitana would be crucial for his side.
The Venetian side sit 18th in the table, five points from safety but they’re slowly beginning to gain momentum entering tonight on a three-match unbeaten run.
“We know every match is crucial for us, everyone needs points but the teams that struggled in the first half of the season more-so,” he explained to DAZN.
“There’s no certainties in any game but we’re going to put everything we have into every single match to try and grab as many points as possible.”
“We know every single point gives us a bit more hope (to avoid relegation). We have to stay on this path we’re on and see what happens.”
