Nicolo Zaniolo appears increasingly likely to remain in the Italian capital despite pushing to leave Roma before next week’s transfer deadline.
Club officials confirmed to IF24 the player has rejected Bournemouth’s offer following extensive discussions this afternoon between he and his agent with the club.
The English side’s executives met with Zaniolo and his agent, Claudio Vigorelli, in Milano this evening to outline the club’s project after presenting him with a 4.5 year contract.
The attacker asked the club to give him until tomorrow to reflect on their before deciding whether or not to accept a move to the club. However, Zaniolo opted to give his decision tonight and informed both Roma and the Cherries he won’t be moving to the Premier League outfit.
